Step By Step Instructions for Windows VPN Install

Step One: Get the App for your Windows VPN Install.

We recommend the “OpenVPN” application.  To get this app, go to https://openvpn.net/index.php/open-source/downloads.html.  Select download latest stable version. The app will be downloaded to your downloads folder.

Step Two: After the file has downloaded, click the run button from the popup at the bottom of the screen for your Windows VPN Install

Open your email and look for the email from vpn@nuenotion.com.  In the email open the attachment with the title you gave the key file and ending with .ovpn.

Step Seventeen: Save the Config File for your Windows VPN Install

Save the file to your my documents or another location that you prefer.

Step Eighteen: From the taskbar running programs, right click the OpenVPN icon and select import for your Windows VPN Install

Step Nineteen: Open the .ovpn Config File for your Windows VPN Install

Select the file and click open.

Step The file will import and start the VPN for finishing your Windows VPN Install

Press the OK button to close this notification.  If the VPN does not automatically start right click the startup icon and select connect.
